retrofit emission control system for use on LSI engines with a

PUBLIC WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE
VERIFICATION PROCEDURE. The Procedure is used by staff to evaluate diesel emission control strategies (DECS) through emissions, durability, and field testing. In addition, it permits further evaluation after installation through warranty and in-use compliance requirements. Any DECS used to satisfy the requirements of ARB’s in-use fleet rules must be verified under the Procedure

Climate Change Proposed Scoping Plan
The Air Resources Board (ARB) announces the release of the Climate Change Proposed Scoping Plan.
This plan is a key step in the implementation of AB 32, the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. AB 32 requires ARB to prepare and adopt a Scoping Plan that provides strategies to reduce GHG emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. ARB must approve the Plan no later than January 1, 2009.
In June the Air Resources Board released a draft plan. The proposed plan released today reflects additional analysis, expertise, and public input that ARB has received over the past several months.
