Michael is a chemical engineer with 24 years of experience in air quality and related environmental disciplines. This experience includes environmental compliance auditing, per-mitting (NSR, PSD and Title V), air toxic health risk assessment, NSPS/NESHAP/MACT applicability analysis, emissions inventories, greenhouse gas reporting/verification, RE-CLAIM reporting, TRI reporting, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC), and the development and implementation of environmental management systems. Michael is a registered Professional Engineer (Chemical Engineering), is a Certified Permitting Professional (CPP) in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), and is also accredited as a Lead Verifier by both the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) in their green-house gas and clean fuels programs (CARB LCFS and ODEQ CFP). Michael routinely coordinates environmental permitting compliance assistance at several petroleum refineries, petroleum terminals and other manufacturing industries.
