Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
ALG specializes in the development of new and updated stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) for industrial facilities. With a focus on developing operational and structural best management practices (BMPs) to manage persistent stormwater pollution issues, ALG has been successful in assisting facilities with challenging stormwater discharge parameters achieve ongoing compliance.
Our goal is to develop SWPPPs for facilities that are both comprehensive and easy to navigate, including the design of turn-key and site-specific stormwater compliance programs to assure compliance.
ALG has developed and conducted customized on-site environmental training to industrial clients for over 15 years. ALG recognizes that effective stormwater management requires efficient training of key staff and seamless integration with existing training programs. ALG’s customized stormwater training programs include both focused annual/refresher training of facility staff as well as train-the-trainer courses customized for environmental and site managers.
ALG also develops interactive web-based training programs for facilities, which allows staff to participate in clear and engaging instruction on critical concepts. These web based training tools allow for facilities to electronically record successful completion of staff training and confirms participants comprehension through interactive online quizzes and exams.
Permitting and Compliance Assistance
ALG’s NPDES permitting assistance includes both turnkey permitting services and specific technical services.
ALG has assisted in NPDES permitting for oil and gas operations, electrical power generation, and manufacturing facilities.
