Mia has experience in regulatory compliance, permitting and reporting in the fields of water quality, air quality, and hazardous material/hazardous waste management. This experience includes industrial storm water and wastewater permitting (SWPPP, NPDES Permits), air quality permitting, and hazardous waste compliance (waste determinations, accumulation and management of hazardous waste). She assists municipalities and industrial facilities in developing and implementing wastewater and stormwater control programs, including comprehensive updates to pretreatment programs. Technical expertise to support these compliance initiatives includes preparation of stormwater reporting, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Wastewater Surcharge Statements, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Hazardous Materials Business Plans (HMBP), hazardous waste minimization plans (SB-14), and agency notifications.
